We all have something that inspires us. Pictures, Music, whatever ...
We all know that athletic performance can be enhanced by being "Pumped up". That is why gyms pump in loud music and hang pictures of sports heroes on the wall. That is why team do cheers before a play.
What is your inspiration?
When choosing your workout area or facility, make sure the environment pumps you up. Don't go to a gym if they play a radio station over the speakers, or the news.
Don't put your money down on a place with drab grey walls and floors.
If you are a 20 year old man, don't join a gym filled with middle aged women!
To get the most out of your workouts and yourself, you need to be inspired!
Tips:
Make a mix with your favourite pump up music. Listen to it on the way to the gym, and in the gym if you need to.
If you train at home, line the walls of your workout area with photos of your favourite athletes, doing what they do best
Forget about everyone else around you.
